A summary of activities of Raspina Ran Pars co. ***** This company has been registered in Shiraz in 1999 with the aim to fulfill geological and mineral affairs, do field exploration to discovery mineral resources of the county, do contract work on mines exploratory affairs, and design industry equipments for mines. This company�s activates in Fars provinces include exploratory operation of three mines of ironstone in bavanat city. In these three mines, at first a geological map of 55 sq/ meters was prepared as a whole and then all index and ratio of iron and other existing minerals were specification on it, and the related results were applied to elect a part of the three areas for accomplishing geophysical operations. Then, for the first time, a geophysical operation was done on an area of about 15 kilo meters with magnetometer method in Fars province, and the achieved results had an effective role in continuation of exploratory process of these mines .in continue, excavation was done in these mines to the depth of 12000 meters, and this made the geophysical data accountable. A large number of samples, over 500 samples, were sent to one of the creditable laboratories of the country in order to be examined , and the results are available from then on excavation of about 100 exploratory canals by mechanized systems was started and some of these mines are now the base of work. Finally, topographic and geological maps of 1/1000 sq/ meter were prepared on an area of above 6 square kilo meter and the results of excavation and chemical analysis resulted in the use of geostatistics methods to determines storage for the first time in Fars province , and preparation of 3-dimenional models of minerals based on different carats. This lead to determination of different blocks of minerals with different degrees of purity based on available models, there is a resource of above 15, 000, 000 tones of definite ironstone mineral, manganese containing hematite. Type: in these mines, extraction operation has Benn started and the amount of storage and special type of hematite ironstone at this region made the managers of this company decide to establish a high carat making unit with he aim to produce manganese containing iron concentration detailed laboratorial studies were done on this field and this company succeeded to produce manganese containing iron concentration in laboratorial scale. Necessary work for execution of industrial and pilot project is being studied and there is a hope for operation of this project with annual capacity of 800, 000 tones of manganese containing iron concentration by mid 2010. This is o be mentioned that z new phase of exploratory operation has been commenced at this mineral complex with the hope to reach storage of above 30, 000, 000 tones.
