The main solution developed to the International Market is E-Blocks, an innovative solution for teaching English to children aged from five to ten years old. The product comprises an electronic panel, software, audio CD, books, flashcards and blocks, among other tools that stimulate learning and interaction.
The structure and content of E-Blocks is based on internationally recognised English language teaching methods such as the Cambridge Young Learners Syllabus. The children form small groups and interact with the system and themselves.  The computer shows images, animations and games accompanied by music and dialogs that have been recorded by native speakers of English and the students respond to these stimuli by positioning blocks on the portable panel with optical sensors. Once the four learning stages have been completed, the student will have acquired vocabulary of approximately 1,200 English words and expressions and will have learnt pronunciation and basic grammatical structures.
E-Blocks was developed by members of an English language and educational technology specialist group from the research and educational group of Positivo Inform?tica.
