Milenia Agrociencias S.A.

Dedicated to provide solutions for crop protection, in 2008 Milenia Agrociencias SA completed 10 years of the merger between the companies Herbitecnica and Defense. Its origins relates from a 39-year history in agribusiness, positioning the company in the sixth position between the Countrys largest companies with 6% of the Brazilian market share. Integrated into Makhteshim Agan Group, that is present in over 100 countries and responsible for bringing together companies that are among the world's most advanced chemicals industries, Milenia now represents 18.74% of group turnover.
With about 800 employees, Milenia has plants in Taquari (RS) and Londrina (PR), which is also its administrative head office. Milenia has six branches and seven sales regions that have as major clients: agricultural cooperatives, retailers, and farmers in Brazil and abroad. Its activities position the company as an essential agent in the food production chain, providing sustainable alternatives for farmers to protect their crops and increase their productivity, contributing to the strengthening of the food chain and the country's growth.
