Carpediem Mushrooms, a subsidiary of Gloabalseeds Co. Ltd, a multinational company dealing in the importation and exportation of seeds and fertilizers, has been established since June 2010, by Rahim Gilani and John de Gier . The company has one of the most modern mushroom farms in Thailand with all the technology as well as building materials imported from Holland. The farm is located 150km North East of Bangkok in Nakhon Ratchasima province. Carpediem Mushrooms is the only farm in Thailand that can produce premium grade white button mushrooms all year round. We pride ourselves on producing only the freshest and highest quality of white button mushrooms as well as garnering close relationships with both our suppliers and our customers. We believe that by holding these components intact we will be able to provide premium mushrooms at a competitive price to our customers for years to come.
With over 25 years of experience in the mushroom growing industry from all over the world, Mr. John de Gier, one of the owners of Carpediem Mushrooms, has brought with him all the best aspects of all the most modern mushroom farms to our farm in Thailand. With all this wealth of knowledge and experience, Carpediem Mushrooms has been able to set up a state of the art mushroom farm with a production capacity of 4MT of white button mushrooms per week.
The local market makes up the majority of sales for Carpediem Mushrooms with customers such as high end supermarkets, airline catering firms, hotels, restaurants, cooking schools and many more. With rapid expansion on the horizon, we are looking to expand our markets overseas. Our main target markets will be countries with close proximity to Thailand such as Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
