The AMBRA Group is a leading producer, importer and distributor of wines in the Central and Eastern Europe. It is present in the markets of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. The main sources of revenue include AMBRA Group&＃39;s brands of sparkling wines, vermouths and alcohol free beverages for children. The most famous ones include Dorato, Cin&Cin, Fresco and Piccolo, which are the leaders in their respective market segments. Nearly 40% of revenue is made up by the growing segment of wines imported from the most renowned manufacturers of France, Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Chile and Australia. Over two thirds of revenue is earned in Poland. The share of the Czech Republic and Slovakia is approximately 15%. The Rumanian market has a similar share (i.e. 15%) in the sales of the AMBRA Group. The AMBRA Group operates in two main markets: mass market and fine wines market. Mass market covers wide distribution of products in the middle and lower price brackets, with main distribution channels including trading chains and wholesalers. Fine wines market covers distribution in the higher price bracket. The main distributors of these products include HoReCa, the own chain of specialist wine stores, business customers (B2B) and individual customers (B2C). Polish companies operating in the commercial market include AMBRA, TiM and PH Vinex Slaviantsi Poland, while Centrum Wina - Dystrybucja operates in the fine wines market. Activities of the AMBRA Group abroad mainly concentrate on the commercial market. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia the main operators on the market are Soare Sekt and Soare Sekt Slovakia, which specialises in distribution of sparkling wines, still wines and champagnes for children. In Romania the AMBRA Group holds 51% of shares in the leading producer and distributor of sparkling wines, brandy and champagnes for children - of S.C. Zarea S.A. The Romanian company of the AMBRA Group owns the leading brands in that market, such as Zarea (sparkling).
