Tessitura Florida was founded in 1988 in Carpi, one of the most important European textile districts, and boasts more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing of knitted fabrics for apparel.

? In the 90s and at the beginning of the 2000s the company began carrying out studies and tests on anti-static materials and fibers able to guarantee
warmth and body thermoregulation.
? In addition, at the beginning of the 2000s, the company started conducting researches on specific fabrics appropriate to ensure well-being, and
in 2005 obtained the certification for the production of biologic textiles.
In the same year started a further research project, concluded in 2007, which allowed the company to obtain the certification for the production of hypoallergenic textiles;
? Moreover, in 2005, the real breakthrough. The technology advancements of the textile industry allowed the introduction on the market of seamless
weaving, a cutting-edge technique for the manufacturing of sports underwear. From that moment on this achievement made it possible the use of continuous carbon solution in combination with polipropilene hollow fiber.
Therefore, in 2008, the company invested
in an important project particularly aimed towards sports underwear, which
turned out to be successful both in technical and quality terms allowing the
creation of structurally innovative underwear and outerwear fabrics.
The commitment of our experts further optimized these garments making
them very light without precluding
their breathability, body thermoregulation, warmth and antistatic features. Other peculiar characteristics are the mitigation of sudden thermal shocks and the non proliferation of bacteria, which makes the garments anti-odor. In 2010, the trademark ASA ?Active Sport Apparel? was registered and the product was introduced to the market.
