Founded in 1993 Altai Cashmere LLC (Altai Cashmere) is one of the leading cashmere producers in Mongolia. As one of the leading brands in Mongolia, Altai Cashmere provides approximately 30% of total domestic production of de-haired cashmere and about 6% of cashmere garments. It is a direct subsidiary of Altai Holding LLC (Altai Group), one of the largest conglomerates in Mongolia. Altai Group has started as a trading company in 1991 and it has grown into one of the leading business groups in Mongolia with subsidiary companies and investments in major sectors of the economy.At Altai Cashmere, we value quality over trying to keep-in-step with the latest trends, as excellent quality and cuts will outlive year-on-year trends.We are continuing our endeavours to introduce Mongolian luxury pure cashmere products, one of Mongolia&＃39;s national prides, to the international community through our commerce platform, named Yamaa Cashmere, named after the Mongolian goat (translated into "yamaa" in Mongolian).Altai Cashmere is fully equipped with a laboratory for quality control and technologies with the capacity of 800 tons raw cashmere to wash, 435 tons washed and 350 tons of dehaired cashmere. Altai Cashmere produces 180,000 cashmere garments per year. Our pure cashmere garments are exported to the UK, Italy, Japan, Germany, Russia, France, South Korea, and the USA.
