Yangzhou Yalian Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. (��angzhou Yalian��or the ��ompany�� is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yalian Steel Corporation, listed on the TSX under the symbol of YL. The Company is engaged in manufacturing and distributing longitudinal submerged arc welded (LSAW) steel pipe and providing anti-corrosion service.Yangzhou Yalian has a registered capital and total investment of US$50 million and US$98 million respectively. Covering a land area of 170,000 m2, the Company is conveniently located in the developed Yangtze River Delta Region��angzhou, adjacent to Shanghai and Nanjing, and merely 10 kilometers away from Yangzhou Port. Yangzhou Yalian JCOE production line officially started up on October 16, 2009, while the Company secured steel pipe orders from Syria, Canada and other countries even before its becoming operational. The Company spent less than one year and a half commencing from the groud breaking on April 19,2008 to the load comminssioning on August 31,2009. Yalian LSAW steel pipe production line provides advanced equipment and technology with the annual designed capacity of up to 300,000 tons.This state-of-art plant realized automated production equipped with device layer and framework of two Ethernet layers .The MES control system is adopted to manage the production and dispatching. And the SCADA system is adopted to collect data and monitor the process to realize the integrated and real-time production management.The Company has a competent management & technical team, who are experienced in working overseas and has provided steel pipes to the offshore pipeline projects.
