With the full expansion and development of Nickel mines in the Philippines and higher global demand of the said mineral commodity way back in 2007, VTP Construction Incorporated stands up and evolved from Construction to Nickel mines service contractor of its mother company, CTP Construction and Mining Corporation. Owned by Mr. Vicente T. Pimentel, Jr. , the company is managed by Mr. Lyndon D. Miranda. With its manpower of more than 300 skilled and non-skilled workforce and Mining equipment capacity of 13 backhoes, 4 bulldozers, 2 road graders, 4 pay loaders, 46 dump trucks and 4 articulated dump trucks, the company has shipped out more than 200, 000 wet metric tons in 2007 and more than 350, 000 wet metric tons at the end of November 2008 of laterite nickel ore in China. The company has remarkably acquired high nickel production and shipment to date. However, due to the sudden plunged of nickel prices in 2008 caused by over supply of the said mineral commodity and slowing global financial and economic growth, the company hasn't yet recovered from production and labor costs of its mining operation.
VTP Construction Incorporated largely concentrated its effort on mining operations.
