Vikash Metal & Power Ltd (VMPL) is an integrated steel plant at Purulia, West Bengal, India. The company has received the prestigious ISO 9001: 2000 SGS certified and accrediated by UKAS quality management system Geeneva, Switzerland. The company is presently manufacturing Spnge Iron, MS Billets, TMT bars and would be commissioning shortly Power Plant, SI Mn Plant, Ferro Silicon, Pig Iron. Embarked in the year 1996, the company embarked on its journey in the steel industry in a modest manner and expanding at a remarkable growth rate. The plant is equipped with modern production equipment, test and quality assurance facilities and employs dedicated team to ensure quality products to the buyers. The Mangement's vision being to produce high standard quality material meeting international standars and supply to Indian market to meet the ever growing demand. Tmt bars are produced in the worlds most advanced technology, the TEMPCORE, process under licence from, Belgium.
