Tangshan Shengda Steel Co., Ltd. mainly produces H-shaped steel, I-steel and U-steel. Dedicated to forging a steel aircraft carrier in domestic steel & iron industry, it has become one of the production bases of medium and large-sized profile materials with an annual output of 800,000 tons.
    The phase-I project completed and put into operation includes one ��,000 double-roller reversible cogging mill, one finishing mill unit consisting of six ��70/��60 compact universal mills and two ��60 edging mills. The phase-II project will contain seven universal mills, three edging mills and one double-roller mill to pave the way for manufacturing H-shaped steel. The fully-automatic production line was made under the leadership of three experts who enjoy special government allowance from the State Council, with the world leading production technics of large-length rolling, large-length cooling, large-length straightening and cold saw cutting. The universal rolls adopting domestic scientific research result of the world�� leading level are co-developed by Tianjin Zhongzhong Science and Technology Co., Ltd. on the basis of several imported universal mills with advanced international level. The finishing mills were improved in size precision and physical and mechanical performances by replacing groove method of rolling technology and cooling control technology with universal rolling method. The finishing equipment adopts variable pitch straightener and constant-power speed-regulating cold saw. The cold bed is of advanced spray cooling technology.
    Main Products: Types of steel are carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel, low alloy steel, structural steel for bridge and hull, weathering steel; thin H-shaped steel: 250*250~500*200mm, ventral plate and flange thickness up to 3.2mm; standard H-shaped steel: 250*250~500*200mm; I-steel: 30a-56c; U-steel: 30a-40c. Product specified length is 6m, 12m and 18m.
