Starnex Co., Ltd. based in South Korea, is the developer, manufacturer and distributor of micro portable CCTV system distributed under the trademark, Self-Guard. Self-Guard represents state of the art technology and the most feature packed surveillance system of its kind on the market. Self-Guard has brought about a market for the consuming public beyond the limits of the security and surveillance market.

STARNEX was created specifically to produce digitalized and highly intelligent solutions for the customers of security products. The founder and CEO, Sang Rae Park (head engineer), spent approximately 12 years as a surveillance systems developer in Seoul, Korea. Mr. Park has considerable expertise in surveillance systems, understanding the very need of an innovative and new-concept of surveillance system.

Many customers of other surveillance equipments complain about the needs for intermediary services like installation specialties leaving them with costly installation and maintenance fees. The system is rather too big, and the cameras are fixed and exposed once installed, so the crimes continue to happen outside of the camera's angle regardless of the existence of those equipments. After spending approximately one and a half year developing the Self-Guard products, including market research, programming and testing, and six months to prepare for mass production, Starnex introduced Self-Guard for the best fit of various customers in need of security product.

Starnex is now introducing new products to target specific and general marketswith surveillance system for the vehicles, law enforcements. Also a new concept and technology driven products are for the mass number of general consumers of electronic devices.
