Spicer India Limited was established in 1993 for the manufacture of axles, driveshafts and universal joints. The Company is a joint venture between Dana Corporation, USA, and Anand Automotive Systems . With a sales turnover exceeding US $ 9.5 billion, Dana is one of the world?s largest suppliers of automotive components, modules and complete systems to global vehicle manufacturers and their related after-markets.

Spicer India has four facilities ? an Axle plant in Pune and three Driveshaft facilities which include the Component plant at Jodalli, the Driveshaft Assembly plant at Satara and the 100% export-oriented unit at Hosur. All Spicer India plants are certified for ISO 14001 as well as OHSAS 18001 and are the first drivetrain plants in India to get the ISO/QS/TS 16949 Quality Management System certification
