Solmics Co., Ltd. , formerly Sangboo New Technology Co., Ltd. , is a company engaged in the manufacturing of machine parts used in semiconductor production machinery. The Company has three prime operations: Silicon Operation, Al2O3 Operation and Quartz Operation. Silicon Operation develops focus rings and edge rings, which help the plasma and the wafer to come together during the semiconductor etching process. Al203 Operation specializes in the manufacture and supply of Al203 high-purity ceramics for the semiconductor, electronic and medical industries. Quartz Operation produces various quartz products used in semiconductor manufacturing. The Company also develops and produces other fine ceramics materials, such as Boron Nitride, SiC, AlN, Si3N4, Transparent Al203 and others.
