With major changes of paradigm such as globalization and informatization,
   the 21st century presents us with endless opportunities and demands for innovation,    diversity, and new standards such as managerial transparency.    
   At the core of such vast changes, SMEs are standing tall in their own right.
   SMEs are the driving force of the nation's economic development and it is SBC's proud
   mission to be their partner in opening the future.
   Since its establishment as a non-profit government agency in 1979, SBC has been
   committed to fostering and promoting small and medium sized businesses as foremost   economic players, both domestically and internationally.

To promote the vitality, prosperity and flexibility of SMEs, SBC provides substantial and continuous support
in areas such as financial assistance, technical consulting,training, and international industrial and technological cooperation. We at SBC are increasingly aware of the vital role that SMEs play in Korea's overall economic  
  performance, and are dedicated to their continuous development. The programs presented here are being carried out with such in mind. It is hoped that the contents in this brochure will provide an understanding of SBC's
