Shanghai Zhonghua Printing Co., Ltd., founded in 1912, originally called Zhonghua Printing, Zhonghua printing plant. It was changed to a limited liability company in 1998, and now is named printing company by the national Press and Publication Administration and State??  key confidential printing company.  
As the oldest and largest publishing and printing enterprises, Zhonghua Printing made a outstanding contribution to the development of Chinese culture and publication. During the last century, Zhonghua has printed the "Ci Hai" ,"Sukarno collection of paintings," "Dictionary of Chinese", "Thames Historical Atlas " and a large number of influential books. In 1988, Zhonghua was named to undertake the international printing business. In 1999, Zhonghua passed the Singapore International Certification Limited quality audit, and obtained ISO9002 certification.
  At present, the company has obtained Founder Computer typesetting system, color desk plate system, Komori, Heidelberg four-color, five-color offset printing machine (10 units), Martini binding lines and other hundreds sets post-printing equipment. Meanwhile Zhonghua has introduced 5 sets of eight-color webpresses .
