SDM (Shandong Province Metallurgical Engineering Co., Ltd.) is an international engineering company which has about twenty internationally advanced and key technologies for energy saving and emission reduction. SDM has the capability to plan, design and engineer 1,000t integrated iron and steel project on EPC basis and is capable of providing a whole set of schemes on technical modification and construction for customers. SDM was established in March 1959, and is located in Shandong Province, on the east coast of China.

SDM relies on Shandong Iron and Steel Group (with the annual output of 23,200,000t; rough steel output is ranking the 12th in the world) and Laiwu Iron and Steel Group. SDM is guided by innovation concept, keeping on researching, developing and applying world's advanced technologies and appropriate technologies to improve the capability of creating value. SDM provides a whole set of solutions for domestic and overseas customers, such as project survey engineering, EPC projects, equipment & material sale, construction, erection, commissioning, staff training and fabrication under the EPC contract, as well as project supervision, technology consultation, technical service, environment impact assessment, etc.

Our company has formed several industry chains to focus on the metallurgical engineering research, consultation and EPC project, assisting with municipal architecture, environment protection, civil architecture and power supply. In recent five years, SDM has made more than 20 planning schemes of large-sized integrated steel projects ranging from 2-10 million tpa for domestic and foreign enterprises, and finished more than 200 large and middle size smelting and rolling projects, covering mining, integrated raw material yards, sintering, pellets, BF, converters, electric furnaces, CCMs, large size H-beams, hot rolled plates, wide plates, cold rolling, oxygen generation, coking, general layout & transportation as well as auxiliary utility.
