Established in 1984, Samhaeng Co. specializes in manufacturing optical frames and sunglasses. The company's watchword is innovation, and in 1999, we made a major breakthrough in optical frame manufacture with the development of a revolutionary new material named Tidirium. Lighter than titanium and completely nickel-free, Tidirium allows three-dimensional designs previously possible only with plastic frames. Not surprisingly, Tidirium has been recognized within the industry as an important development in frame design and manufacture.

The company's factory, equipped with state-of-the-art production lines, has a capacity of one million frames per year. All frames undergo a strict quality control process that includes precision weighing and measuring, heat-treating, and ultrasonic cleaning. Currently, production facilities are being expanded as we look to diversify our markets. To that end, the company now maintains an overseas office in Singapore.

Samhaeng Co. is a privately owned company with registered capital of US$200,000 and total investment of US$300,000. The company's factory and headquarters is located in Seoul, where it employs 20 staff, including 10 production technicians and 2 workers dedicated to quality assurance.
