Riley Classic Balsawood Surfboards

My name is Mark Riley and I have been shaping balsawood surfboards since 1996. Unlike the mass produced surfboards that are now coming in from Asia and other places, I enjoy using my own hands to create, custom build and shape balsawood surfboards. Everyone has different requirements and the serious surfer demands his/her board built to their own individual specifications. I strongly believe that only a surfer can be an accomplished shaper and create a board that will fulfill the desires of the person who is searching for the ultimate board. (I have been surfing for over 30 years now and shaping for more than 15 years) Every board we create at Riley is unique and of the highest quality. Most importantly my boards are entirely Australian made and are guaranteed to outlast and outperform the imported "pop outs" and other PU boards. We use tried and tested materials to ensure a quality creation. I import my own quality balsa from South America and regularly return there to ensure the quality is of the highest standard.
