Abelha Organic Cachaca is a top quality "artisanal" Cachaca which is 100% organic and is also produced ethically.

The taste and quality of Abelha is superior to any industrial cachaca, eg. 51 or Pitu. When used in a caipirinha, even an inexperienced person can easily tell the difference.

* Abelha Cachaca is distilled using traditional small copper stills, NOT a large steel industrial column
* The sugar cane is grown at the farm, then cut and processed fresh, NOT bought in bulk from far away
* 100% organic process, certified by IBD in Brazil, and by OFG (UK) for import to anywhere in the EU
* Ethical production - workers are paid fair rates


Abelha Cachaca has 2 versions:

Silver: Cachaca is rested for a few months to settle the flavours.
An excellent spirit with an aroma of fruits/vegetable, a clear and smooth sugar cane flavour, and a dry finish.

Gold: Cachaca is aged for 3 years in garapeira wood barrels.
A mature and exceptionally smooth spirit which has a beautiful honeyed note as well as some spice flavours from the wood.

Product Quality

Abelha Cachaca has recently been launched in London, UK, where it is the house cacha?a in some of the best cocktail bars such as the Hawksmoor (Class - Best Restaurant Bar 2008 & Theme - Best Drinks 2008), Casita Bar (Class: World's Top 50 bars - 17th) and Montgomery Place (Bar Awards 2006 - Best UK Bartender).
