About Us

Hi, l'd like to introduce myself.......Sir Austine.O. is the owners of a parrot breeding aviary in United Kingdom, called

Parrot Farm. Situated on 6 PARKSIDE COURT GREENHOUGH ROAD, LICHFIELD, STAFFORDSHIRE, WS13 7AU, UNITED

KINGDOM, we've now been breeding parrots here for 20 years.  A lot of people ask us, "How'd you get started doing

this?"

    Austine has been involved with birds for many years, having owned a Budgie as a child, and being an avid bird

watcher and nature lover.  She went to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and graduated with a degree

in Biology, and at the time had an Indian Ring-necked Parakeet firmly rooted to her shoulder.   After a few years in

Australia, where he worked in animal-related jobs and dabbled in breeding parrots, he came to United Kingdom with her

two pet birds, where she started breeding Canaries, Budgies, Cockatiels, and Lovebirds in his home in STAFFORDSHIRE,

united kingdom.  After moving to the farm in 1985, he started an aviary with a more diverse set-up, which currently has

over 50 breeding pairs of a variety of parrot family members.

    Austine (fortunately) is an animal lover too. Born and raised in united kingdom, his family had Budgies, a Cockatiel,

an African Grey, and a disabled Blue Jay while he was growing up. He enjoys feeding the baby parrots, and has adopted

a family of cats and kittens, who are his constant companions while working around the farm.

    Austine have many interests outside of aviculture. and also likes nature and weather phenomenon, and has taken

some photographs of lightning, aurora borealis, meteors and comets. If you'd like to see some of her photos, please

check out her Photo Page. As well, Austine have started a collection of colorful, old glass insulators that were first
