We handle a volume of Fritillaria production under the umbrella of the Union of Siverek Natural Flower Bulb Producers in Karacadağ district of Siverek province of Şanlıurfa. A total of 100 producers manage a total land of 20 hectares. Every year, we produce approximately 2, 000, 000 plants of Fritillaria species (Fritillaria Persica, Fritillaria ivory bells, Fritillaria Imperialis and Iris Marsia). The objective of our union is to ensure expansion and breeding of endemic alliaceous plants of Southeaster Anatolia across Turkey and the world. Our aim is to promote the use of these plants at parks, gardens and landscapes at home and abroad by creating a botanical gene center in our regions to allow higher economic employment for the regional population. We follow the latest technological developments used in production through the best use of agricultural resources. Kıran Agricultural Counseling, with such awareness and mission, offers counseling services to approximately 3, 000 farmers as well as many other services to our farmers in terms of production. Persika Agriculture Cattle-Breeding Construction Industry and Trade Ltd., besides producing tulip bulbs, cultivate Karacadağ rice, which is globally celebrated, at an annual production volume of 500, 000 tons. Furthermore, we produce tomatoes, corn, wheat and cotton.
