Who We Are:
OTB Distribution began operating in 2008 as a both a media & marketing and distribution company. We are a company that focuses on distributing quality South African manufactured goods to the FMCG industry. Although a small company we always aim to deliver big. Our management team has accumulated over 70 years experience in the FMCG, sales, marketing, product development and advertising sectors. Because of this experience we are able to meet the demands of the FMCG marketplace.
Business Overview:
For products that have potential we identify appropriate local and international markets after thorough research and consultation with affiliates locally and worldwide and take these products to the marketplace. The categories we focus on currently are repellents for snakes and geckos, self defence products, high quality automotive range of cleaning and maintenance products, DIY range of products for treating steel; copper; cement; plaster; wood; panels & chassis; aluminium; braai/barbecue cleaners and a branded range of pre-teen cosmetics. Some of our products use Sasol technology. This strategy ensures the products are ideally suited for both the local and international markets.
Product Development:
Because of our experience and understanding of what consumer demands/trends are, we play a major role in product development from inception to the final product. This ensures the products we distribute cater for local and international markets. Quality is always key with price following close behind. We encourage our manufacturers to utilise local content where possible. Because we have access to chemical engineers we are able to produce a product where there is a demand or if there is a request.
Capacity:
We possess the capacity to deliver large orders to local and international markets and we are able to more than double production within a short notice period without affecting our operation.
Exporting:
Our products are currently exported to Australia, India, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nigeria and Ghana. We are growing this part of our business because of the quality and effectiveness of our product range.
