Old Farts Logging is a partnership represented by Robert Pummer and limited partner, Jim Holloway. Our motto is, "The older we get the better we were. "
We are loggers seeking a better market for our premium logs. Our local market is sufficient to handle our secondary and low grade by-product logs, but the rewards of selling our premium logs locally only to be re-sold are disappointing to us. We are offering direct access to premium logs and cut logs fresh to order.
This area is rich in black walnut, white oak, red oak, yellow popular and hickory. However, most local production is in the tie and pallet lumber businesses which we supply from our by-product logs.
