MAXWELL GENERAL TRADING (L.L.C)

The history of this organization can be traced back to 1960 when initially it was founded in Pakistan as a trading firm under a different name at that time. During the past years the organization has achieved steady growth. Today it consists of limited companies and firms involved in manufacturing, trading and business activities at national and international levels. The group expanded its diversified portfolio while enhancing focus on international business and trade.

Business Operations in U.A.E. were started in 1998, initially as collaboration with local agent. Under this arrangement, products were imported and sold by the said firm. In 2002, branch office of our Textiles Manufacturing and Marketing Company was opened at SAIF Free Zone Sharjah, UAE. With the speedy diversification it became necessary to change the status from textiles to general trading, therefore Maxwell International Enterprises Limited U.K. took-over the ongoing business activities in SAIF Free Zone Sharjah, U.A.E. in 2003.

MAXWELL INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISES LIMITED, a company incorporated in UK, operates International Trading Houses at SAIF Free Zone, Sharjaha, UAE, warehouses at Ajman. Maxwell is a well-known local marketing company in UAE and other regions of the area and Middle East.

As a result of phenomenal increase in the product range and demand from local/regional markets, for wholesale and retail supplies, the need for setting up local marketing organization became necessary. For this purpose MAXWELL GENERAL TRADING L. L. C. was established in New Sanaiyah (Industrial Area) of Ajman, UAE in 2004. This company now operates a network of marketing for a number of products, which are manufactured by the home company itself or under various joint ventures with the business associates. Today Maxwell General Trading L.L.C. is also actively involved in local sales as well as exports of wide range of products.
