The company manufacturers large area thin film solar modules.Manson is also a leading equipment manufacturer for low cost amorphous silicon photovoltaic panels,which is the most well-developed thin film technology today.Amorphous silicon cells only use less than 1% of the raw material used in standard crystalline cilicon cells,leading to a significant cost reduction.Therefore,it is less to the recent soaring prices of raw silicon.
Headquartered in the HK,Manson solar has 30MW by the end of 2007.Expansion to the capacity of 50MW is next plan.
