Group History

The Group dates back from 1885, where it made its humble beginning under the name and style of M/s. H. A. Ganny Brothers in Rangoon, Burma led by the present CEOs great grandfather, whose trade with Japan and European countries established such a reputation which is diligently upheld even till today. This fact could be very well evidenced from the fact that H. A. Ganny Brothers of the Rangoon was the first native firm to be registered as the importer in the British Burma. The firm proved to be singular honor as the firm was registered at time when the import was restricted to whites only.

The shifting to former East Pakistan and then to Pakistan left the family undeterred and hard work multiplied their achievements each time. The assets of an unblemished reputation for honesty and integrity are jealously guarded and upheld at every juncture. The roots of the present empire are based on dedication, honesty and a will to achieve.

In the last two and a half decades, the third generation of the Tabani Family took charge of the Group under the ambitious leadership of CEOs father late Mr. Ebrahim Tabani. He has worked hard to set up a strong manufacturing base in textile and leather garment products which are marketed in many countries of the world.

The Family also established its international offices for the purpose of handling targets more efficiently. The group also realized the need to enhance international market network for increasing export trade due to rapid changing of socio economic and political conditions throughout the world. The conditions resulted in opening of Companys overseas offices at more than half a dozen of locations in the world. The group had its locations in Dubai, London, Hong Kong, Moscow Tashkent, Almaty, Dushanbe, Ashgabat and Odessa.

The phenomenal growth of the Group is the result of efficient and quality services, for which they have received national and international awards and commendations. The goal of the Group is to introduce state of art technologies and transfer of know how to meet the challenges and needs of future. At that time, the Group was in the business of Fashion Garments, Spinning, Weaving and leather apparels. This was not the only domain, but they were also actively involved in Oil and Gas sector, Ferrous and Non-ferrous metals, Chemicals and fertilizers and last but not the least, Cement.

To cope up with the challenges of 21st century, the Group has started with a new name Manal International which currently has offices in Sharjah, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan. The Company is led under the energetic leadership of Mr. Adnan E. Tabani, son of late Mr. Ebrahim Tabani. The Company also stepped into Food Business along with the previous multiple industries.

Manal International today is a picture of quality trade having an experience of more than hundred years in trading. Although dealing with multi cultural clients and multiple domains has never been easy since their expectations, perceptions, quality standards are different from each other, but with the ability of flex at various locations and provide customized products and packages according to the standards of the clients we have been able to provide better values than any other competitor in the world in trading industry.
