Company Introduction

The YET Air Cooling System operates based on theconcept of “Flash Evaporation” where highly pressurized filtered water is pumped using a 1.5 horsepower pulley driven pump with PSI rating of at least 1, 000 PSI to 1, 500 PSI. With such a high pressure water flow and spraying through a small point, it changes the molecular structure of the water, turning it into a very fine mist. The use of man-made mist is very popular especially in Asia and quickly catching up in Malaysia. This is quite noticeable in a lot of restaurants and open air cafes. However, getting the right system is important because at least more then half what is available in the market provides more water droplets than mist and this usually turn the users such as the end customers off and often with suspicions. YET Air Cooling System is incorporated 2 years ago and is an off-shoot of Maju Jaya Alat-Alat Logam & Mesin Sdn Bhd (MJALM), an established supplier of water pumps and power tools with more than 20 years experiences. We are the pioneer that invented “Snow Wash” system which revolutionize the car washing industry in Malaysia in 1996, where it later becomes a “must-have” when you open a car wash outlet. Having successfully market the YET Snow Wash System. MJALM went on to develop a better and finer mist system in 1999 and introduced its first model called TORNADO. Our entry into Indonesia market especially Medan and Surabaya providing the mist system for “bird nest” cultivators further pushes us to improve our system to be more efficient, producing finer mist, lower maintenance frequency and automation. With the experiences, we develop the next generation of mist system with better electrical system for control, using pulley system pump instead of direct coupling, higher pressure system with lowered water flow rate and using of solenoid valve system to control and protect the whole system. The YET 2100S mist pump module is the end result of our continuous effort in improving our product for the market. It packs with a 2.0HP pump and is rated with pressure to a max of 1800 PSI. Due to many extras being added into this new model, the overall size increase by more than 250% and weight close to 100 kg, it can deliver up to 100 nozzle points without affecting the pressure required. The market condition and its demand again pushes up to improve on the size and cost of the mist pump module because average users requires between 30 to 40 mist points, half of what YET 2100S output. The improved version is YET 1500S which we have recommended for the project. It was being introduced end 2002 and it’s the most popular among all our customers which half is repeated sales. Its durability, low maintenance, user friendly and a proven system are what users look for. Having the right system will not guarantee getting the desired effect because understanding the relationship between humidity level (dew point), flow and direction of wind or air and balancing them is equally important. For example, a mist spraying out without direct push or air or wind from behind or any directions, will eventually drop on an are and assuming with a higher humidity level externally, that area with the mist will turn into a pool of water. In short, correct positioning of the mist points and air flow are critical success factor of this project.
