Asuncion Coco Ventures, Incorporated (ASCOVE) is a corporation registered in the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commision. It was established September 2004 in Asuncion, Davao del Norte, Philippines. The company is a 100% Filipino owned corporation. It was established to help the coconut farmers in Asuncion. It has an initial capital of below P500,000.00, the company established its plants and facilities. It took over a year before the company perfected its products to meet the standard requirements set by the Department of Trade and Industry, from the taste, smell, and appearance. Its brand "POAS" was derived from the Dibabawon Tribe dialect meaning "untouched" due to its crystal clear appearance. The company's plant has a capacity of between 5 10 tons of pure virgin coconut oil per month depending on the volume demanded by its client. It is the only virgin coconut oil in the province of Davao del Norte.
