Although just being founded in 2016, Le Gia Forestry LTD inherited the previous business of 15 years of Thing Loc Company and has made a strong impression by owning and managing thousands hecta of grown forest to actively harvest wood for production. Mr Le Minh Tuan, Chairman of the company said that with a passion for forest planting from childhood, after coming back from the army in 1983, he began as a worker in the plantation, which gave him time to gain experience as well as deeper understanding about forestry. Annually, the scale of newly planted forest by the company is approximately from 200 to 400 hectares; besides, the company also supports planters by supplying seedlings, fertilizer, and tending techniques. In addition to forest planting activities to improve forest products quality, the company has invested into a wood manufacturing factory in Dong Tan commune, Huu Lung district with modern equipment, Taiwan, China, German production lines to manufacture wooden export products of high value such as veneer and plywood; each year, the factory sends out about 2,000 cubic meters of finished products in varied types.
