Lake Effect Decoy Company, LLC. aka LED, is founded, owned and operated by Jason L. Minnich. Mr. Minnich has produced and sold hand crafted dive duck decoys for hunting since 2010, in 2013 LED has transformed from a cottage style manurfacturing and distributing operation to a mass production operation, producing the highest quality duck hunting decoys on the market. LED has an inhouse manurfacturing company that does the manurfacturing for LED&＃039;s products. LED provides all the sales and marketing operations. We are located in Meadville, PA, USA. All decoys are made of sold engineered resin in our 24, 000 SF facility, the decoys body and heads are solid not hollow, and unsinkable. The decoy has a molded keel allowing the decoy to be rigged in longline or single drop fashions. Currently LED is positioned to provide the high quality, heavy duty duck decoy products to the waterfowling marketplace. LED will be ready for patial product line release mid September of 2013, with full product line release to take place February 2014. LED will have a direct marketing campaign launched at this point aswell, consisting of ads in major waterfowl magazines and commercials in waterfowl hunting tv shows as well as various hunting website and social networks. LED is positioned to offer blank heads, painted heads, and fully painted and assembled decoys in the following duck species, Bluebill, redhead, canvasback, goldeneye, bufflehead and mallard (heads only currently). LED is also working on a product line of accessories such as anchor systems and decoy bags. Also LED will have the LED brand apparel.
