Koukounaras S.A. is a Greek Export-Import and Trading Company of fresh fruits and vegetables, active since 1988.It is located in Chalkidiki, near the city of Thessaloniki (North Greece).A place with prosperous growth of fruits.Koukounaras S.A. is a family business ran by Mr.Nikolaos Koukounaras and three sons, a family who possess the ??know-how?? of fruit and vegetable industry trough many years of experience.Koukounaras? main products are Kiwi fruits, Grapes, Apricots, Peaches and green Chalkidiki Olives but also all the products of Greek growth, all free of any chemical residues.Products are collected from fields all over Greece and from growers proved to cope with the Company?s strict demand of quality.The company is certified with ISO 9001:2000 and HACCP 1416:2000.After collection, fruits are transferred in self-owned packing houses and cold storages. They cover an area of 2.000 hectares, which includes 300 m2 offices, 4000 m2 storage and 7000 m3 cold storage.Fruits are calibrated by experienced personnel under the constant supervision of the owners. Products are packed with the most advanced solutions. The high qualification of crew, guarantee the fulfilling of all customers? hygienic and quality requirements, which is the company?s main focus as well.
