Welcome to Katambora Safaris cc, a safari company with a difference - we strive to satisfy our client's needs by being the best there is.We don't aspire to become the biggest safari operating company but the best there is because we do it for the love of the African bush and love to share our passion for wild life.
Katambora Safaris is settled in a closed corporation duly incorporated in accordance with the laws of the land with only member since 1993. We bank in White River and enjoy an excellent credit rating and our auditors are in Nelspruit. Our administrative/operations office is in White River and our 24/7 reservations office is in Nelspruit. Our taxes are paid up to date and we are a vat-registered vendor.

We are insured with Cross Country Insurance Company for 20 million Z.A.R. per incident against passenger liability and we are insured with SA Eagle Insurance Company for 5 million Z.A.R. against public liability.

As a role player in the tourism industry we have deemed it necessary to belong to different tourism organizations and do hold memberships and are acknowledged by the following organizations:

L.C.B.T. - Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism

M.P.T.A. - Mpumalanga Parks & Tourism Authority

We support the Black Economic Empowerment program as currently being implemented by the government. Our involvement in a project to establish a broad based tourism facility in the rural community of Huntington, bordering on the Sabi Sands private game reserve is proof of this. Our BEE scorecard in tourism is completed and submitted and we are currently awaiting the result from the Tourism BEE Charter Council.

We operate Open Safari Vehicles in the Kruger National Park and have closed vehicles for transfers. On the Private Game Reserves we use different Open Safari Vehicles than on the Kruger Park safaris.

We do Bush Walks, Night Drives, Open Safari Vehicle safaris and multiple day safaris to Kruger National Park and Private Big 5 Game Reserves.
