The company’s primary product is fresh fruit that is processed into pulp and juice and then packaged in stand-up pouches that have a 2-3 year shelf life. The pouch contains pure fresh fruit and no additives or preservatives. The fruit comes from areas that have high nutrient growing conditions mainly the Central and South America region. The packaging process is designed for a 2-3 (or longer) shelf life. The front-end of the process is the cleaning and selection process of the raw fruit. After cleaning it is “de-stoned” if the fruit has a pit, pulped, and then accumulated in a reservoir before being piped into the Ultra High Temperature (UHT) sterilization of the pulp and juice product without destroying the nutrient value or the color, texture, and taste. Pulp that is designated to be processed for juice is then put through a juicer and then into the UHT process. It is then packaged in Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) pouches with a bio-guard to prevent the leaching of chemicals into the product. The packaging process takes place in a level three clean room environment that complements the A-septic pouch filling machine. The A-septic pouch filling machine can process up to 10, 000 - 250g pouches per hour. The machine prints, forms the pouch, sanitizes, fills, and inserts nitrogen into the pouch before sealing for the final step in making the extended shelf life.
