Hann Ching Enterprise Co., Ltd was set up in 1985, in Taiwan, so was the factory from the start. At that time, the factory produced and exported Corals, Dolomites, Middle Eastern praying beads and all kind of natural stones worldwide. Based on the needs of immense labor work involved with the semi-precious stone jewelries, which falls into the category of labor-capital concentration industry, thus the factory was moved to Mainland China(Dong Duan) for production in 1993 and the Head Office and Customer Relation department remained in Taiwan. At the early operation in China, coral round beads, white stones and dyed bamboo corals were produced and exported to the US and around Asia. From 1999, we started to devote ourselves in developing and producing coated shell pearls. After several years of hard work from every department and head of each department and on top of that our insistency in quality, today, we have become the leader in the shell pearls industry. Shell Pearls, originally from big shell which lay on the bottom of sea bed, were produced after the process of manual coating to create all kind of color effects of pearls. We offer Seven-Colour series, SouthSea series, Rainbow series and Two-Tone series as our four major colors. The different reflections and colors of Shell Pearls are due to different methods and numbers of coating used. Basically Seven-Colour series has the number of coating as high as 27 times South Sea series has 20-25 times of Coating Rainbow series has around 20 times and Two-Tone series has 15 times, therefore the costs involved were different and this results in different selling prices. we also have 40 mulitcolor series. Except these four major colors, we also developed other new colors such as Coral shades, Turquoise and Jade series and so on. As to the size and shapes of Shell Pearls, including two holes (hole through) and one hole. size of round beads(from 3mm to 20mm)
