Gonda Metal Industry is located in the city of Sagamihara in Kanagawa Prefecture, which is adjacent to Tokyo. The company was established 95 years ago.
Our primary business operations include the manufacture and sale of copper busbars, copper, brass round bars, plating materials, copper rings, and magnesium alloy products. As a company, we specialize in manufacturing sheeting for products made from rolled copper. We have facilities for producing small lot orders for a wide variety of products, and we are actively engaged in research and development.
Our primary clients include the suppliers, Pan Pacific Copper Co., Ltd. and Toyota Tsusho Corporation, while our major customers include Toshiba Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Hitachi Corporation, and Nikon Corporation. As a trading firm/wholesaler we work with companies such as Hakudo Corporation and Sato Metal Trading Co., Ltd.
In 1999 we received IS09001 certification. In 2002 we received ISO9002 certification. Also, we obtained JIS indication permission for copper busbars, brass round bars, and busbars in 1991. In 2003 we began producing thin magnesium based allow plates.
