(3G)was established in 2005 as a joint venture between Lafarge Gypsum International, the world largest manufacturer of building materials, and a group of prominent Saudi investors that include Rolaco Trading & Contracting Co. Ltd., Zahid Group Holding, Amkest Group, El-Maimani Group Holding, and Juffali Holding.

Global Gypsum produces 300,000 tons of calcined gypsum for the production of 20 different construction and industrial products under license and technical cooperation with Lafarge Gypsum International
