The history of Gatefarms began as small-scale rosehip and sesame growers with a small production of wellega sesame seeds and rosehip tea parchment in the town of Illubabor, State of Oromiya, Ethiopia, and today the company has established itself as a strong agro-export complex with products ranging from natural collected and cleaned spices, oilseeds and pulses with a capacity production of bulk agro-commodities export of 25,000 bags per month on average.The trajectory, experience and deep knowledge of the environment from the base, has allowed the company to transform difficulties and crisis in growing opportunities, even in the toughest times of recent history of the Ethiopian agro-commodities.Gatefarms International Trade has established itself as a solid enterprise, committed to the marketing of Ethiopian agro-commodities, characterized by its efficiency in production, processing, threshing and exports one of the best food products, giving particular attention to the welfare of the farmer as a basis for the sustainability of the activity in the future.
