Spliceman Bar Breakers offer more than 150% of the specified yield strength of rebars. Spliceman couplers are designed to withstand a breaking strength of 700N/mm2, well above designed breaking strength of most reinforcement bars.
Spliceman Couplers are tension compression couplers and are TYPE 2 couplers as per ACI 318-08. Spliceman couplers achieve full strength by hand tightening.
