F.P.D. INC

Formed in 1990 by industry veterans with over 100 years combined experience, F.P.D. Inc has grown steadily over the past fifteen years into a significant global trading company. Headquartered in Los Angeles and with offices in Miami and Santiago Chile, F.P.D. serves as a conduit between the growers of fine products and the appropriate clients around the globe. In addition to sourcing commodities for it&＃39;s large retail client base and putting together sales and marketing programs for growers, F.P.D.&＃39;s focus on airfreight logistics is exemplified by its status as the largest airfreight importer by air in the U.S. of fresh fruit originating from Chile. While the emphasis has historically been on perishable products, primarily fresh fruit and seafood, F.P.D. has recently entered into agreements to produce and market other related commodities. A joint venture with a mission to create the finest Chilean wine with the owners of one of the oldest estate grown vineyards in Chile is but one of the projects on the exciting road ahead for the team at F.P.D. that believes that global sourcing, logistics, and international partnerships will be critical to success in the increasingly globalized economy.
