The development of the painted sculptural black pottery is based on the black pottery of Tibetan style from ancient Yunnan, which has more than 4000 years history.
Material : The products are made of selected clay unique to Yunnan, found in plateau lakes which were formed by geological crust movement over millions of years. After being fired using special processes, the pottery becomes smooth, lustrous and black.
Appreance : All series products are hand-made and characterized by their simple and unsophisticated shapes, various patterns and strong Tibetan color.
Carving: The black pottery is engraved by our carves before burning, following three-dimesional designs which pass on the handicrafts of cliffcarving and Buddha carving. The finished products have graceful lines, exquisite designs, and a unique style.
