Covco Co., Ltd.

COVCO, founded in 2001, is the Korean venture company (certificated by Korean Business Administration) and the manufacturer dedicated to the development of electric vehicles. Over the past years, the company has put 2-wheel electric scooters, electic ATV(all terrein vehicle) on the market, and also 3 wheel and 4 wheel electirc vehicles are under development, which are expected to be put on the market late in the year of 2006.

The company has carried the research and development activities at the company's annex laboratory set up in Korean Electric Technology Research Institute (KERI). Once the company complete the products lineup and the development of the unltra-compact 4-wheel electric cars (MPEV, GALLAXY, etc.), the company will move its status into gear and be one of the leading electric vehicle development companies domestically and overseas as well.

In 2005, as a result of its effort for the time being, Covco. Ltd was assigned for a Korean Government Project called "Introduction of Electric Scooter for the National Capital region" , and successfully delivered its electric scooters equipped with lithium battery to the local governments in the area of national capital region, such Seoul City, Kyunggi-Province, and Inchon City. In 2006 as well, Covco., Ltd will be again appointed as the company in charge of this project which will continue by 2007 and be sponsored by Korean Government.
