Established in 1975, the Company changed its name from Sichuan Mining Machinery Plant to Chongqing Hijoy Mechanical & Electrical Co., Ltd. due to restructuring in 2000, and was renamed as Chongqing Hijoy Industry Group Co., Ltd. in 2010. Located in Yubei Airport Industrial Park in Chongqing, with a coverage of over 200 mu, the Company is a large private enterprise with an integration of research and development, manufacture and sales of motorcycles, gasoline engine and relevant supporting products, having a 120-thousand-square-meter domestic top modern industrial plant, with a total assets of RMB465 million and over 2300 employees, of which, over 200 employees are various kinds of engineers and technicians. The Company mainly produces 35CC-300CC motorcycles and gasoline engines, as well as general machinery of more than 500 varieties in many models, having an annual production capacity of 2 million of motorcycles and 3 million of engines, and now has grown to be the biggest professional motorcycle manufacturer in Chongqing.

Having been granted with ‘Motorcycle Production Permit’ by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of PRC, the Company has passed ISO9001:2008 international quality system certification and ISO14001:2004 environmental management system certification, and obtained the qualification to export various motorcycles jointly examined and granted by the Ministry of Commerce, China Quality Certification Center, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine and General Administration of Customs. There are 287 vehicle models in six brands, such as Hijoy, Shancheng, Jiaguan, Donghong, Jinhong and Huajun, which have been permitted to produce by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China Quality Certification Center and passed compulsory CCC certification by China Quality Certification Center; besides, another 24 categories have passed E-MARK certification by European Union. Since 2004, the Company has been cited as an ‘AA’ credit enterprise for consecutive seven years by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Chongqing and a ‘Credit Integrity Entity’ by Chongqing Bank Association. Since 2008, the Company has consecutively been rated as key industrial enterprise by the People’s Government of Yubei District, Chongqing.

The Company has 3 subsidiaries (in Weihai in Shandong, Renqiu in Hebei and Taizhou in Zhejiang), 12 sales companies (including sales companies in Mexico and Myanmar), and 1411 sales networks in 31 provinces, municipality directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions throughout China, with its products sold not only in China but also to over 40 countries and regions such as Southeast Asia, Middle Asia, Middle East, South America, North America, Eastern Europe, Africa, Russia, etc., having gross industrial output value of RMB2.7 billion in 2013.
