CBN Biotech Co., Ltd. has already acquired and applied for 21 patents on cultivated wild ginseng roots both home and abroad, including the US, Japan and China and is being requested technology transfer by foreign countries as our plant biotechnology capacity is recognized overseas.

The cultivated wild ginseng roots that we produce are developed by Research Center for the Development of the Advanced Horticultural Technology (HortTech), Chungbuk National University. HortTech created them by carrying out tissue cultures of over a hundred-year-old wild ginseng found in Mt. Odae with sophisticated bioengineering technology, sponsored by Biogreen Project of Ministry of Science and Technology, Korea Science and Engineering Foundation and Rural Development Administration.
