BIRLA POWER SOLUTIONS LTD, an ISO 9002 &14001 certified Yash Birla Group Company as the leading provider of power solution in the country.It was the first company to manufacture portable generators in India in 1984. The company is presently producing a wide range of generators catering to the power requirements 0.5KVA upto 40KVA. It was the 1st company to roll out self-starts Gensets and the first company to launch emission compliant generators under the brand name BIRLA ECOGEN.

The present domestic market share of BPSL generators is around 32%. Till date, we have more than 3.5lacs satisfied Genset owners in every nook and corner of the country. We have also executed major orders from the defence forces and are registered with DGS&D, DGQA etc. BPSL has a network of more than 500dealers spread throughout the country. These dealers are given extensive training and are well equipped to cater to after sales service for generators and allied products.

The company diversified into multi purposes engines and its application product such as pump sets, under the brand name ECOSHAKTI. The engines manufactured by the company are useful particularly to small/medium scale farmers having small land holdings. The products are extremely compact, lightweight, portable and efficient and are popular in the farming community because of their reliability, low maintainance and low running costs.

The company has also launched invertors under the brand name Birla Ecogen with 500-1500VA for domestic sector.The company exports significant percentage of its production to various countries around the world. Both generators as well as multi purpose engine are gaining increasing acceptance in the African sub continent, Middle East and Far East countries.
