Many active ingredients used or being developed in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or cosmetic industries are poorly water-soluble limiting their efficacies and formulation flexibilities. Bio-Synectics works with pharmaceutical companies to provide delivery solutions for new drug development projects and also develops its own pipeline of value-added reformulations of block buster drugs. As the nanoparticulation strategy is also very useful in overcoming the formulation difficulties of poorly soluble nutraceutical or cosmetic ingredients, we develop water-soluble(stably dispersible in nanoparticles) ingredients so that they can be easily incorporated into various food or cosmetic products.
