Bailey Engineering & Land Surveying, Inc., *****, BELS, is a privately owned company that provides a vast array of engineering-related services. We provde surveying work, engineering design, mapping, environmental permitting services, mine permitting, erosion control design, hydrological & geological studies, etc. BELS is a privately owned company -Richard L. Bailey, President. Richard graduated from Va. Tech in 1984 with a B.S.degree in Engineering, graduated magna cum laude. Richard & BELS is certified as a professional engineer in 5 U.S. states, (Va., WVa., Kentucky, Tennessee, N. Carolina), as well as certified as a registered land surveyor in these same states. James (Jim) Goff, a fellow allumni of Va. Tech, graduated in 1985, cum laude with a B.S. degree in engineering. Both Richard and Jim possess additional degrees from SVCC, a Va. College *****, A.S./Engineering. Both Jim & Richard are pursuing continuing education through local colleges, etc. BELS wishes to continue to expand, to reach out and provide yet additional engineering services as the industry demands.
