About Ashrafi International Pvt Ltd History in the rice business Our founder chairman Mr. Hamiduddin Peracha (Late) was linked with the milling and trading of Pakistani rice way back since 1956. He started business of rice by establishing a milling uint with the name of Indus Rice Mills Ltd, situated in Jacobabad Sindh for the coarse quality IRRI-6 rice. This plant was not only comprised of rice husking unit and processing but also had the facility of Schule parboiling plant. This parboil varitety of irri-6 rice was supplied in the local market and to East Pakistan (now Bangladesh). He had also established state of the art rice milling unit for the basmati rice, husking and processing in the heart of rice growing area of Punjab, with the name of Best Food Mills Ltd Sukheki Mandi Hafizabad Punjab. Rice reprocessing unit for the exports: In 1995 we started a reprocessing unit with the name of Ashrafi International Pvt Ltd for the export purposes. In this unit we reprocess exclusively all varieties of rice which are grown in Pakistan. This reprocessing milling comprises of following stages: Pre-cleaning of rice (From pre-cleaner) Paddy grain separation (From Paddy Separator) Width grading of rice (From Width grader reel) Polishing: - Abrasive polishing (double polishing) (From NF14 Polisher) - Water polishing (silky polishing) (From Stake Japan KB40 Silky Polisher) Color sorting of rice (From optical color sorter of Sortex UK model 90k3) Again fine length grading last step before transferring rice to storage bin In our unit we have the flexibility to process Brown rice, Sella Parboiled rice and white rice according the specifications of our valued customers. Production Capacity: The production capacity of our company is about 3500-5000 metric ton per month. Packing Material Manufacturing Plant: With the expertise of rice milling and rice trading we also have the discretion that one of our sister concern Habib Jute Mills Ltd. Joharabad where manufacturing of Hessian/Double wob jute bags is manufactured for our own requirements of export rice and is also supplied in the local marker to meet the requirements of export of rice and is also supplied in the local market to meet the requirements of other rice exporters as well.
