Anhui Ankai Automobile Co. Ltd is a public listed company manufacturing large and medium-sized luxury coaches and bus chassis, holding three subsidiaries including JAC Coaches Co. Ltd, Ankai Axle Co. Ltd & Ankai Jinda Industry and Trading Company.
Ankai is 46 year old leading Chinese bus manufacturer listed at Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Our company occupies the area of 983.000 m2, 4000 employees, 20000 units of coaches and chassis produced annually.
We have been cooperating with Setra, a top bus brand from Evobus, Mercedes Benz for20years and we are their only cooperator for Asia Pacific region under licence to produce Emarket Setra bus in China from 1990s.
Ankai is authorized as National innovative pilot enterprises; focus on high-tech enterprise of National Torch Plan and National EV Coach System Integration Engineering Research Center with the post-doctoral station.
The Company now mainly owns ‘AK-SETRA’, ‘AK’, ‘HH’, ‘JAC Coach’ brand series of city bus, intercity bus, tourism bus, new energy bus and bus chassis, ranging from 5,5m to 18m and creating excellent quality of 4,300,000 km without overhaul.
Due to many years of development and innovation Ankai has employed its own cutting edge bus manufacturing technology, which named “MONOCOQUE†and its patented from Chinese Government (code: ZL200610086351.4). MONOCOQUE is a high end integral bodyframe building technology widely used in top-class buses, with many highlights, such as extraordinary passive safety performance, enhanced strength (3-6 time stronger than the common bus body), improved stability and ultimate comfort.
Having quality as a first priority in our mind we got certified by ISO0900I system in 1999, ISO/TS 16949 system in 2007, and we are the first company in coach industry which passed the Chinese “CCC†compulsive product certification and national safety level enterprise certification.Â
Ankai was also awarded “Anhui Province high and new energy enterprise, while nowadays KO5, K46, KO7D, K86, and GS-I, have certified by ECE, DOT, ADR, GCC, New Zealand and Hong Kong, etc..
To secure perfect customer experience and proper condition of our buses, we have been building indispensable guarantee and service network for all our buses sold. Moreover, we have done great endeavors to apply alternative energy to future buses, and Ankai is one of Chinese new energy bus pioneers.
We started to broad our business to overseas territories from 2003, and we are now engaged in many deals and projects with foreign municipal authorities and transport companies or alliances which are widespread in North and South America, Pacific Rim, Middle East, West Asia and Southeast Asia, North Africa and some European countries.
