Yantai Fruits General Company was founded in 1965, covering an area of 210, 000 square meters, building area of 62, 000 square meters, double-track railway special line of 3, 419 meters, refrigeration storage and air-conditioned cold storeof 7800 tons. The company, with fixed assets of RMB120 million, is the largest collecting center of fruits, agricultural sideline products, and means of production in Jiaodong area. In order to adapt to the reform and opening up, in 1992 established Sino-foreign joint venture Yantai Xianmei Fruits, Vegetables, Aquatic Products Co., Ltd. and Yantai Rongfeng Foodstuff Co., Ltd. In 2002 obtained the right to import and export.
